Food & drinkTiki Coffee & Desserts: knafa and coffee until midnight
A dessert café a minute off Glades Road that stays open until midnight every night — what knafa is, what people order, and what "halal sourced" does and does not mean.

Most of Boca Raton is winding down by ten. Tiki Coffee & Desserts keeps its counter open until midnight, seven nights a week, which makes it one of the few places in town where dessert and a coffee after a late film or a late shift is an ordinary plan rather than a hunt.
It is on NW 2nd Avenue, a short way north of Glades Road and close to I-95, a short drive from the FAU campus.

What knafa is
Knafa — you will also see it written kunafa or kanafeh — is a dessert from the Levant built on fine shredded pastry, baked until the top turns gold and finished with syrup. At Tiki it comes topped with crushed pistachio, with vanilla ice cream, extra pistachio or a Lotus biscuit drizzle as add-ons.
Much of the menu is built around it. The "Dubai" items pair knafa with pistachio cream and chocolate, the combination that went everywhere online with the Dubai chocolate bar: there is a Dubai knafa crêpe, and a Strawberry Cup that layers strawberries, knafa, pistachio and milk chocolate.
What people order
The business lists these as its bestsellers:
- Knafa, on its own or with ice cream
- The Dubai knafa crêpe with pistachio and Nutella
- The Strawberry Cup
- The Waffle Stick — a waffle on a stick under a drizzle and crumble
- The OG Latte, the house iced latte
- Tiki Tropical, a mango, pineapple and strawberry smoothie
Beyond those there are crêpes, waffles, shakes and matcha. The full menu has the current list and prices, which we leave off this page because they change.
What "halal sourced" means here
Tiki describes every dessert and drink it serves as made with halal-sourced ingredients. That is a statement about where the ingredients come from. It is not the same claim as certification by a halal certifying body, and Tiki does not make that claim. If certification matters to you, ask at the counter — that is the honest place to settle it.
Getting there
From I-95, take the Glades Road exit, head east, and turn onto NW 2nd Avenue. From west Boca it is a straight run east along Glades, across the Turnpike and I-95. Parking is in the lot out front; the café is Suite 4.
On social media the café posts its seasonal specials on Instagram as @tikicoffeedesserts before they reach the menu.

We record when a guide was published and when it was last revised. We do not yet record what changed, so this is a dating record rather than a changelog.
Written and checked by a person, and carrying the month they were published and the month they were last revised. Where a rule or a fee applies we link the official source rather than quoting a number that will go stale.
