The agreement between you and us for using this site. It is short, and the parts that matter most to you are near the top.
The short version. This is a free local guide, put together from public data and from what residents send in. Check anything before you rely on it — call the restaurant, confirm the event. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. We are not able to take responsibility for a trip that was wasted or a business that let you down.
Who you are agreeing with
BocaRatonFL.org is published by Pangea United Inc. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Pangea United Inc., and “you” means anyone using the site. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use it.
We are not the City of Boca Raton
This is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the City of Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, the Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency, or any other government body. Where we list a city service, a permit or a phone number, we are pointing at the authority’s own information — the authority’s own website is always the official source and ours never is.
What the listings are worth
Business and place information on this site comes largely from OpenStreetMap and from public records. Events come from published municipal and organiser calendars and from submissions. News is a headline and a link to somebody else’s reporting. All of it is offered in good faith and none of it is verified continuously.
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, current or complete, that the site will be available without interruption, or that it will be free of errors.
Opening hours change. Events are cancelled and moved. A phone number goes out of date the day a business changes it. Confirm with the business or organiser before you travel.

Guides and articles on this site are general information about living in and visiting Boca Raton. They are not legal, financial, medical, tax or real-estate advice, and reading them creates no professional relationship. For a decision that matters, ask someone qualified to advise you on your own circumstances.
Links to other sites
This site links out constantly — to businesses, to organisers, to news publishers, to city pages. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for what is on them, and a link is not an endorsement. When you follow one, their terms and their privacy policy apply, not ours.
What you send us
When you submit an event, claim a business, or send us a message, you keep ownership of what you wrote. You are not giving it to us.
You do give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for: a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, edit for length and clarity, publish and display that content on this site and in material promoting it. You can withdraw that permission for anything not yet published, and ask us to remove anything that has been.
By submitting something, you are telling us that:
- it is yours to send, or you have permission from whoever owns it;
- it is accurate as far as you know;
- it is not defamatory, harassing, obscene, or unlawful, and it does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or privacy; and
- if you are claiming a business listing, you are authorised by that business to claim it.
Nothing you submit is published automatically. Everything is reviewed by a person first, and we may decline to publish anything, at our discretion, without giving a reason.
Content from other people
Where this site carries material submitted by others, we act as a provider of an interactive computer service and not as the publisher or speaker of that material. If something posted by someone else is wrong or harmful, tell us — see copyright and DMCA for infringement, or use the contact form for anything else — and we will look at it and act if it warrants acting on.
Advertising
This site carries advertising, and paid placement is always labelled as such. A paid listing is shown in a marked block; it is never mixed into a ranking and never dressed as an earned result. We do not verify advertisers’ claims about their own goods and services, and carrying an advertisement is not a recommendation. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them.
Using the site properly
Please do not:
- scrape or bulk-copy the site in a way that burdens it, or to rebuild the directory elsewhere;
- submit false listings, spam, or claims to businesses that are not yours;
- attempt to reach parts of the site that are not public, or to interfere with its operation; or
- use anything here in a way that breaks the law.
We may restrict or refuse access to anyone doing these things. Note that business data on this site is used under the Open Database Licence and carries its own conditions — see credits and licences.
Our own content
The site’s design, its written guides and its arrangement of the data are ours, and are protected by copyright. Photographs and datasets are used under their own licences, which are set out in full on credits and licences. Please do not republish our written material without asking; quoting it with a link is welcome.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pangea United Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from your use of — or inability to use — this site, from reliance on anything published here, or from any dealing with a business, organiser or advertiser you found through it.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100), or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is so, the limits above apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits, and the rest of these terms continue to apply.
Indemnity
If a claim is brought against us because of something you submitted, or because you used the site in breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of dealing with it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and both of us agree to that venue.
Changes, and the rest
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top moves when we do, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
