The City of Boca Raton’s boards, commissions and council meetings, as the City publishes them. City Council, Planning & Zoning, the Community Appearance Board, the Marine Advisory Board, Parks & Recreation, the retirement plan trustees and the special magistrate hearings all appear here on the dates they sit.
Every one of these is open to the public, and most of what a resident actually cares about — a rezoning on their street, a change to a park, a code enforcement policy — is decided at one of them rather than at an election. The agenda is published on the City’s own page ahead of the meeting; each listing links straight to it.
One thing to check before you go. These are City of Boca Raton bodies, and they govern the city limits. If your address is in West Boca — west of the Turnpike, unincorporated Palm Beach County — your planning decisions, your code enforcement and your parks are the County’s, and this calendar is not where they are published. It is the single most common mix-up about living in "Boca", and it is worth getting right before giving up an evening.
