Halloween events in Boca Raton

Everything on this page was called a Halloween event by whoever is running it. That is the whole rule: the city, the nature center and the downtown organizers name their own programming, and this page collects what they named. Nothing is on here because it merely happens to fall in late October — a council meeting on the 30th is still a council meeting.

Boca Raton does Halloween through its institutions more than its bars. Gumbo Limbo runs a Halloween evening on the beach side, the Children’s Science Explorium leans into the creepy-crawly end of its program, and Sugar Sand Park fills the run-up with toddler workshops — pumpkin crafts, costume storytimes — that book out early. West Boca’s own trick-or-treat events are mostly organized street by street and never reach a public calendar at all.

The list grows through the month. The City publishes its recreation program in batches roughly six weeks ahead, so a page read in mid-September shows a fraction of what a page read on 20 October will. If something is missing and you are running it, send it in — a person reads every submission.
