Things to do in Boca Raton this weekend

This is every event we hold a date for between Friday morning and Sunday night, in the order they happen. Times are Boca Raton local, venues are named in full, and each listing links to the organizer’s own page so you can check a price or a cancellation before you drive.

A Boca Raton weekend is spread across two very different halves of the map. East of I-95 you have downtown — Mizner Park, Sanborn Square, the Studio — plus the beachfront parks and Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, which runs guided treks and sea turtle talks most weekends. West of the Turnpike, in unincorporated West Boca, the weekend is quieter and more local: park programs, community meetings and the sports and recreation classes that fill Sugar Sand Park.

The calendar leans toward daytime and family programming, because that is what the City of Boca Raton and the downtown organizers actually publish in advance. Evening music and restaurant events tend to be announced late and are often not published as a calendar feed at all — if you run one, send it in and a person will read it.
