Events in Boca Raton this month

The rest of this month, grouped by day. It starts today rather than on the first: the fifth is over, and a month view that offers to show it is a month view that wastes your time.

This is the widest view of the calendar and the one that shows its shape. Recurring city programs — weekly classes at Sugar Sand Park, Nature Connections at Gumbo Limbo, the Explorium’s Saturday demos — appear on every date they run, so a series you like is easy to find a place in. One-off downtown events, festivals at Mizner Park Amphitheater and Sanborn Square shows sit in among them on the days they happen.

Public meetings are here too, and they are worth a look if you live in the city limits: Planning & Zoning, the Community Appearance Board and City Council all publish their agendas ahead of time and all of them are open. West Boca residents should note that these are City of Boca Raton bodies — an unincorporated address is governed from the county, not from City Hall.
